This large-scale industrial expansion project forms part of the continued growth of South Africa’s leading e-commerce logistics network, supporting increased warehousing and distribution capacity for high-volume fulfilment operations in the Western Cape.

The development focuses on extending an existing warehouse facility to accommodate additional storage, sorting, and dispatch infrastructure, enabling improved throughput efficiency for fast-moving consumer goods within a high-demand distribution environment.

Our involvement was executed under a standard tender scope, contributing to the structural steel requirements for the warehouse extension. The project demanded a solution engineered for long-span efficiency, rapid construction timelines, and optimal internal space utilisation—key factors in modern logistics and warehousing design.

The structural steel system was developed to support large open-plan floor areas with minimal internal obstruction, ensuring maximum flexibility for racking systems, material handling equipment, and operational flow. Precision fabrication and coordinated installation were critical to aligning with the client’s construction programme and operational rollout requirements.

All steel components were manufactured under controlled workshop conditions to ensure consistency, dimensional accuracy, and site-ready assembly efficiency. This approach supported accelerated on-site installation and reduced disruption within an active logistics environment.
